Position Summary

• The Center for Treatment of Eating Disorders in St.
• Paul includes both an inpatient hospital program as well as outpatient clinic services for patients with eating disorders.
• MSW students will be able to learn and utilize evidence based psychotherapies for the treatment of eating disorders.
• Types of therapy include family based treatment (i.e. "The Maudsley Method"), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy Enhanced for Eating Disorder, as well as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for mood and anxiety disorders.
• Students will be able to gain experience working in an inpatient hospital setting as well as outpatient clinic setting.
• Aside from learning clinical skills and therapies, students will be able to learn and obtain experience in advanced case management and hospital social work skills.
• Weekly individual supervision will be provided and MSW interns will have the opportunity attend an additional supervision group with other current MSW interns within Children's Minnesota.
• MSW interns will also have the opportunity to shadow other therapists and social workers in other departments within Children's Minnesota based on their interests.

Education

The posted salary represents a market competitive range based on salary survey benchmark data for similar roles in the local or national market. Annual salaries displayed are based on full-time employment (40 standard hrs per week). Annual salaries for part-time positions will be prorated based on the employee’s scheduled weekly hours in relation to the full-time standard. When determining individual pay rates, we carefully consider a wide range of factors including but not limited to market indicators for the specific role, the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate, internal equity and organizational needs.

In addition to your salary, this position may be eligible for medical, dental, vision, retirement, and other fringe benefits. Positions that require night, weekend or on-call work may be eligible for shift differentials or premium pay.
