The Med Tech is responsible for the safe and accurate administration of medications and documenting them per physician orders. Additionally, they provide support with activities of daily living and monitor residents' conditions to report changes to leadership.
Candidates must possess compassion for older adults and strong interpersonal skills. Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English is required.

As a Med Tech, you will provide residents with safe and accurate medication administration, support with daily living needs, and exceptional hospitality—all in alignment with American House’s commitment to Compassion, Integrity, and Excellence. Key Responsibilities Administer medications accurately and document all administration per MAR and physician orders Maintain medication cart security and complete narcotic counts each shift Observe and report changes in residents’ condition to wellness leadership Respond promptly and professionally to emergencies Communicate respectfully and effectively with residents, families, and team members Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs): bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, and mobility Occasional support of dining services, housekeeping tasks, and resident activities
