Provide and supervise occupational therapy treatments for adults to restore muscle strength, coordination, and psycho-social coping skills. Develop comprehensive treatment plans and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to improve residents' daily living functions.
Requires a Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy and a valid Massachusetts licensure. Candidates must have at least 2 years of clinical experience working with adults with developmental disabilities.
Provides occupational therapy treatments and/or supervises treatments to assigned adults, utilizes structured activities, equipment and environmental settings to provide persons with specific treatment modalities designed to restore muscle strength, increase the resident’s range of motion, increase psycho-social coping skills, improve muscle coordination and expose persons to neurodevelopmental, and sensory-motor exercises.
