Home Health Aide (HHA)

Attentive Care is a licensed, CHAP-accredited home health care agency dedicated to supporting clients in maintaining safety and independence at home. We deliver in-home nursing oversight and personalized caregiver services throughout Long Island, NY.

As a Home Health Aide, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients by providing compassionate, one-on-one care in their homes.

Key responsibilities include

• Assist clients with activities of daily living, including meal preparation, light housekeeping, and personal hygiene Provide companionship and emotional support to clients Run errands and support clients with transportation as needed Monitor and report changes in client health or behavior to nursing staff Support safe client transfers and mobility, including lifting and repositioning Maintain a clean and safe home environment for clients

• Qualifications: Prior caregiving experience within the past 2 years under an active HHA certification at a licensed home care agency in New York State Ability to lift and transfer clients averaging 150 lbs, with or without assistance, on a frequent basis Ability to communicate effectively in English Must be 18 years of age or older Authorization to work in the United States Reliable transportation
