The Infusion Nurse I provides direct patient care in home or alternate infusion sites, ensuring patient safety and compliance with physician care plans. Responsibilities include administering treatments, modifying care plans, and communicating effectively with the clinical team and patients.
Candidates must have an active RN license and 0-2 years of infusion nursing experience, along with current CPR certification. Basic computer skills and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds are also required.
Summary: An Infusion Nurse I is a licensed registered nurse who provides basic direct patient care to patients in the home, or in an alternate infusion site, to ensure patient safety with continuity and compliance under a physician’s plan of care. Works under very close direct supervision of the designated supervisor.
