The Registered Respiratory Therapist administers diagnostic and therapeutic procedures to facilitate patient breathing and evaluates the appropriateness and effectiveness of respiratory care. Responsibilities include maintaining patient records, administering various therapies, and responding to emergency situations.
Candidates must have an Associate's Degree in Respiratory Care and be a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with CPR certification. An Ohio License is required, and for home care positions, a valid state driver's license and acceptable Motor Vehicle Report are necessary.
