Maintain accuracy and efficiency in health information records following defined procedures and guidelines. Prioritize work and meet deadlines under the direction of the Health Information Supervisor.
Requires a high school diploma and one year of medical records experience. Candidates must pass a specific test and be physically capable of lifting 25 pounds and standing for 75% of the shift.
Under the direction of the Health Information Supervisor, follow well defined procedures and guidelines with minimal supervision, must have the ability to work accurately and have strong organizational skills to maintain accuracy, efficiency, and to prioritize work, and meet deadlines.
High school graduate or equivalent AND one (1) year of medical records experience with working knowledge of fling systems and computers.
All candidates must pass a Health Information Clerk test. Must be able to bend, stoop, kneel, crouch and squat, and lift 25 pounds. Work is 75% walking and standing.
Veterans must submit Form DD214 to determine eligibility for Veterans’ Preference
