The Surgical Technologist supports surgeries by preparing operating rooms, setting up sterile fields, and assisting surgeons during procedures. They are also responsible for sterilizing instrumentation and managing room turnover and supplies.
Candidates must be graduates of an accredited Surgical Technologist program and hold BLS certification. Previous operating room experience and a demonstrated understanding of sterile processes are required.
