Perform semi-independent research experiments according to approved protocols and maintain accurate experimental logs. Assist principal investigators with the preparation of scientific publications, grant proposals, and presentations.
A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required. Prior research experience is preferred.
Summary: Performs research experiments in accordance with provisions of the approved protocol, maintains records, prepares reports and publications, and assists in analyzing data.
Essential Functions: Performs semi-independent research experiments reliably and reproducibly in accordance with protocols approved by the principal investigator. Collects and curates experimental data, maintains accurate daily logs of experiments including methods and results, and draws preliminary conclusions. Assists the principal investigators in the preparation of scientific publications, grant proposals, and presentations. Maintains inventory of equipment and supplies and ensures that research equipment is in good working order. Follows all appropriate lab safety protocols and other regulatory requirements. Education Requirement: Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field, required.
