The Endodontist will diagnose and treat dental diseases and injuries using advanced techniques, specifically performing root canal treatments and surgeries. They are also responsible for educating patients on oral health and collaborating with other dental specialists for comprehensive care.
Candidates must hold a DDS or DMD degree and have completed an accredited endodontics residency program. Valid state dental licensure and board certification or eligibility in endodontics are required.

Diagnose and treat diseases and injuries using advanced techniques and technologies Perform root canal treatments, retreatments, and endodontic surgeries with precision and care Educate patients on treatment options, post-treatment care, and the importance of maintaining optimal oral health Develop a supportive atmosphere to help patients feel comfortable receiving treatment and encourage long-term care Collaborate with general dentists and other specialists to ensure comprehensive, high-quality patient care Stay current with advancements in endodontics and commit to continuous professional growth
DDS or DMD Completion of an accredited endodontics residency program Dental licensure and certifications required by the State Dental Board, with no adverse actions Board certification or eligibility in endodontics
