Perform efficient MRI scans while ensuring patient safety, quality imaging, and accurate documentation. Maintain equipment readiness and adhere to regulatory standards and quality assurance protocols.
Must be a graduate of an accredited radiologic technology program and ARRT registered with an advanced registry in MRI. Requires active state licensure, CPR certification, and proficiency in IV skills.
Perform MRI scans efficiently while ensuring patient safety and quality imaging Gather and review patient data to determine the optimal scanning approach Screen and prepare patients, including positioning and administering contrast as needed Monitor patient condition throughout the procedure and adjust as necessary Review images for diagnostic quality and determine if additional scans are needed Accurately document and archive patient and imaging data Maintain an efficient workflow and high standards of patient care and service Ensure equipment readiness, safety compliance, and regulatory adherence Participate in quality assurance, training, and continuing education
