Located in beautiful coastal New Jersey, our hospital offers the opportunity to practice advanced general medicine and surgery alongside a loyal client base and a team that has worked together for years.
We’re currently seeking an experienced veterinarian to help continue the legacy of care as one of our tenured doctors prepares for retirement.
Check us out at: Coastal Veterinary Website Clinic Snapshot Practice type: Small Animal General Practice Avg. daily patient volume: 16-18 appointments/day, surgery days 10-13 appointments/day Support staff ratio: 1:1 to 1:1.5 DVM-to-tech ratio Case mix: Wellness, diagnostics, dentistry, soft tissue surgery, advanced surgical procedures, and preventative care Technology & equipment: Digital X-ray, in-house diagnostics, surgical suite, dental services Team culture: Collaborative, community-focused, long-standing team with strong client loyalty Total Rewards & How We Invest in You We believe great doctors deserve great rewards. $95,000-$145,000 base salary + production bonus DVM Long-Term Incentive (LTI) Cash Program — earn annual bonuses based on your production No negative accrual: We reward performance without penalizing you during slower periods Transparent production metrics and operational support to maximize earnings Generous CE allowance + paid licenses and professional dues Referral bonus program: Bring great talent to our network & get rewarded Flexible scheduling and strong work-life balance Relocation assistance and sign on bonuses available 401k retirement savings plan with company match What Makes Us Different Medical autonomy: Practice exceptional medicine and surgery with the full support of our medical systems and team.
Advanced surgical opportunities: We’re looking for a doctor comfortable with advanced soft tissue procedures, including mass removals, cystotomies, enucleations, and other complex surgeries.

Who You Are & How You’ll Make a Difference You are a veterinarian who is: Passionate about patient care and long-term client relationships Comfortable practicing advanced general medicine and surgery A collaborative teammate who thrives in a positive, supportive culture Committed to continuous growth and excellence Qualifications Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) or equivalent degree from an accredited university (required) Approximately 5+ years of experience preferred Strong diagnostic and advanced surgical skills preferred Compassionate, client-centered approach to care Strong communication and client-education skills About the Area Coastal New Jersey blends waterfront living, beach-town charm, and an easygoing lifestyle with access to major metropolitan areas.
