Assist ophthalmologists in providing patient care, including monitoring vital signs and assisting during laser procedures. Maintain surgical supplies, ensure aseptic techniques, and provide pre- and post-operative support to patients.
Requires a high school diploma or GED and at least one year of related experience or training. COA or COT certification is preferred but not required.
SUMMARY An Ophthalmic Technician/Medical Assistant is a valuable asset to an Ophthalmologist as they assist in providing excellent patient care to the patients during their visit.
