The Immunization Nurse is responsible for administering vaccines to infants, children, and adolescents while documenting care in the EMR. Additional duties include managing medical supplies, scheduling appointments, and performing various clinical treatments like aerosols and wound care.
Candidates must be a Medical Assistant or LPN with experience in pediatric vaccinations and a current CPR certification. Bilingual skills and 0-2 years of related experience are preferred.
Borinquen Medical Centers is based in Miami, Florida and is seeking to hire a full-time Medical Assistant or LPN as an Immunization Nurse. The position of Immunization Nurse will be responsible to administer immunizations to infants, children, and adolescent and documents the administration in the EMR. Verify FL and patient’s vaccine history before administering vaccines.
