The Assessment Specialist RN supports the department with a focus on clinical, operational, and administrative excellence. Key duties include performing patient assessments and developing treatment plans for psychiatric and chemical dependency patients.
Candidates must be a graduate of an accredited professional nursing program with a current unencumbered state license. Previous experience in psychiatric healthcare, specifically with dual diagnosis and geriatric patients, is preferred.

• Previous experience in a psychiatric health care facility, with direct experience working with chemical dependency, dual diagnosis, psychiatric and geriatric patients preferred. Experience in patient assessments, family motivations, treatment planning and communication with external review organizations or comparable entities
Qualifications: and requirements:
Education: Graduate from an accredited program of professional nursing or relevant state licensure required
Previous experience in a psychiatric health care facility, with direct experience working with chemical dependency, dual diagnosis, psychiatric and geriatric patients preferred. License: Current unencumbered license to practice by the State Board of Nursing
