The Nursing Support Tech performs patient care and respiratory functions under the direction of an RN. They are also responsible for maintaining unit functions in compliance with hospital policies and procedures.
Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent and BLS certification. Completion of a Nursing Assistant, Medical Assistant, or PCT program is required, though relevant job experience may be considered.
7p Under the direction of the RN, the NST performs patient care, respiratory functions and unit functions appropriate to the position and in compliance with hospital policies, protocols and procedures.
High school diploma or equivalent, BLS and completion of a Nursing Assistant, Medical Assistant or PCT program. Job experience/training may be considered.
