The Patient Care Technician performs patient care and treatments under the supervision of an RN, including activities of daily living and specimen collection. They are responsible for lifting, moving, and transporting patients while ensuring safety and quality of care.
Candidates must be at least 18 years old and hold a required CNA certification. A current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required or must be obtained within three months of hire.
PCT performs patient care and treatments under supervision of a RN. Provides and documents care including, but not limited to, activities of daily living, mobility, specimen collection and respiratory support activities as directed by the RN. Possess the ability to lift, move, position and transport patients. Demonstrates the ability to meet the department work schedule. Demonstrates initiative to improve quality of care, patient and employee safety, and customer service.
License(s)/Certification(s): CNA certification required Must possess and maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or obtain certification within three (3) months from date of hire.
