Perform a full scope of radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures to acquire data for diagnostic interpretation by licensed practitioners. Ensure patient safety by applying ALARA principles and managing medications and radiation exposure according to regulations.
Requires graduation from a Radiologic Technology specialty training program and ARRT-R registry certification. Basic Life Support certification is required, and a bachelor's degree or one year of experience is preferred.
New graduates must obtain ARRT-R registry within 6 months of the date of hire. Applicants hired after March 10, 2024, must complete steps required for advancing to level 2 within 24 months.
