Provide comprehensive medical assistance and medication management for youth aged 11-18 in a multidisciplinary team. Responsibilities include transcribing psychiatric orders, performing health assessments, and training staff on safe medication administration.
Must be a licensed RN or LPN in the State of Missouri and at least 21 years of age. Graduation from an accredited school of nursing is required, with adolescent and psychiatric experience preferred.
Graduation from an accredited school of nursing. Must be licensed and currently registered as an RN/LPN in the State of Missouri. Demonstrated skills and experience providing client care; adolescent and psychiatric experience preferred. Must be able to perform all Safe Crisis Management (SCM) certified physical intervention techniques to provide crisis intervention and for annual certification. Must be 21 years of age. Job
Demonstrated ability to utilize strength-based, therapeutic crisis intervention methods with adolescents. Understanding of at-risk youth client population. Ability to effectively instruct clients and oversee their daily activities. Ability to read, interpret, and implement agency and program documents, including procedure manuals, treatment plans, etc. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate with colleagues, community partners, families, etc. Computer skills: Microsoft Word and Outlook, and ETO database software. The physical requirements of this job include sitting, standing, walking and climbing stairs on a regular basis, lifting up to 100lbs, pulling and/or pushing on occasion. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals or government regulations. Demonstrate the ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals. Demonstrate the ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, public groups and/or clients. Demonstrates the ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions. Demonstrates the ability to deal with several abstract and concrete variables. Adhere to agency rules, policies and procedures including attendance, program/department specific procedures, workplace safety, and code of conduct, social media, training requirements, and confidentiality.
