The Respiratory Therapist assesses, plans, and implements respiratory care actions and performs technical diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. They are also responsible for responding to critical situations and participating in quality control and performance improvement activities.
Candidates must hold a current California RCP license and AHA BLS certification. Preferred qualifications include acute care experience and graduation from an AMA School of Respiratory Care.
Current California RCP license Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS certification Excellent interpersonal skills. Enjoys working with the public. Must be able to speak, read, and follow instructions in English. Technically competent in the department skills inventory. Computer literate.
Prefer one or more years acute care experience. Graduate of one or two year AMA School of Respiratory Care preferred. NICU level 2 experience is preferred
