The practitioner is responsible for assessing patients, defining diagnoses, and providing palliative care within a hospital setting. They must also manage patient and family education while maintaining detailed medical charts and participating in departmental improvements.
Candidates must be Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistants with experience or a strong interest in palliative care. The role requires the ability to manage a specific patient load and collaborate with board-certified physicians.
