Provide comprehensive daily care to residents, including personal hygiene, feeding, and medication prompting. Monitor resident conditions and document all services provided within the ALIS EHR system.
Must be a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) with the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Experience working with the elderly and dementia patients is preferred.
Led by the community's Director of Health and Wellness, we are looking for compassionate and dedicated caregivers (Care Managers) to assist residents in all aspects of their daily life as indicated in the resident’s care plan, including personal care, food service, housekeeping, laundry, behavior management, socialization, and activities.
Full-time 2pm-10pm shift available: 32-37.5 hour position in Assisted Living and/or Memory Care.
$19.00 - 22.00 Hourly Responsibilities and Duties Assist with self-administration of prescribed medication to resident and maintain related medical records, by way of queuing, prompting, and/or reminding; under the supervision of the RN and/or LPN. Provide resident care to residents that include bathing, dressing, toileting, and feeding, as outlined in their care plan Respects the needs of team members and residents by adhering to schedule and documenting attendance properly. Maintain the safety, comfort, dignity, and confidentiality of all residents Encourages and escorts (when needed) residents to meals and activities Ensures all assigned residents are clean, neatly dressed, groomed, safe, and fed during assigned shifts Document all services provided in ALIS EHR for your assigned residents during your shift Monitors and reports any change of condition in a resident immediately to your supervisor Appropriately utilizes and keeps electronic documentation “devices” safe and secure within the community; efficiently documents care/services provided during the shift. Participates in and attends all in-service trainings as scheduled Ensures compliance with all Federal, State, and local regulations, as well as community policies and procedures Provides basic housekeeping and/or laundry services when needed May be asked to obtain weights and vitals of residents and document same per RN request Other duties as assigned by supervisor, RN, and/or ED
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Knowledge and experience in working with the elderly population, preferred dementia experience Physical Abilities While performing the duties of this job, the associate is often required to stand, walk, sit, use fine and gross motor skills, reach with hands and arms, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, talk, hear, and smell. An individual in this position will be required to lift or carry weight in up to 50 lbs. Intermittent physical activity includes lifting and supporting residents. The associate must use proper body mechanics.
