The Peer Specialist provides emotional and practical support to clients to overcome barriers to treatment and community integration. They collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to help clients achieve treatment goals and document progress in electronic health records.
Requires a high school diploma and CRPA or Provisional CRPA certification. Candidates must have lived experience with substance use disorders and experience providing advocacy services.
