The technician prepares and administers medications and radiopharmaceuticals to perform diagnostic CT studies per physician orders. Responsibilities include positioning patients, analyzing image quality, and maintaining equipment safety standards.
Candidates must have an associate or bachelor's degree and be registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology in Radiology and CT. A current state Radiation Operator Certificate and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification are required.
