Candidates must hold a valid Registered Nurse (RN) license and CPR/Basic Life Saving certification. Prior experience in acute care, nursing homes, or long-term care facilities and proficiency with EHR systems like Point Click Care is highly desired.

This vital role involves providing high-quality patient care in a dynamic healthcare environment, ensuring safety, comfort, and well-being for all patients. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including vital signs, physical examinations, and medical history documentation using electronic health record (EHR) systems such as Epic or Cerner. Administer medications, injections, IV infusions, and other treatments following established protocols and safety standards. Monitor patients’ conditions closely, recognizing signs of acute pain, infection, or deterioration requiring immediate intervention. Assist with diagnostic evaluations such as specimen collection, laboratory processing, and basic imaging procedures when necessary. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans, discharge planning, and follow-up care strategies. Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations and facility policies. Provide specialized care for patients with complex needs including dementia, Alzheimer's disease, memory care, or tube feeding. Ensure infection control practices are rigorously followed to prevent healthcare-associated infections across all patient populations. Qualifications Valid RN license in good standing with relevant state licensing boards. Prior experience in acute care settings such as hospitals (including ICU or emergency room), nursing homes, or long-term care facilities is highly desirable. Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems including Point Click Care ; familiarity with ICD coding (ICD-9/10) is advantageous. Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, pharmacology, and medical terminology necessary for accurate patient assessment and medication administration. Customer service experience is a plus! Ability to respond effectively in high-pressure situations involving urgent care. Excellent communication skills coupled with a compassionate approach to patient care; ability to work independently while maintaining team collaboration.
