Accurately document medical visits and procedures in real-time as performed by physicians. Facilitate communication between providers and staff while managing radiology reports, lab results, and EKGs.
Requires a high school diploma or GED and one to three years of related experience. Preferred qualifications include experience in surgery scheduling, coding, and billing.

Still Burn Center at Doctors Hospital of Augusta.
Accurately and thoroughly document medical visits and procedures as they are being performed by the physician.
Be present for patient evaluations to efficiently create and edit the patient medical record based on the patient encounter. Recording patient subjective history and provider objective Documenting procedures performed by the provider(s) Importing radiology reports, lab results and EKGs Facilitate communication between providers and other staff Travel to different clinic locations Perform other clerical tasks that optimize efficiency. Comply with all safety policies, practices, and procedures. Report all unsafe activities to supervisor and/or Human Resources. Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals. Perform other duties as assigned. Provide leadership to others through example and sharing of knowledge/skill. Participate in education sessions specific to corporate needs or job duties – locally or remotely, as needed. Provide training to other employees – locally or remotely, as needed. Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information. Participate in all mandatory trainings relating to applicable healthcare laws and regulations, and demonstrate full compliance with those regulations, including without limitation, HIPAA, OSHA, OIG, Federal, State and local laws and regulations.
Education: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) Experience: One to three years related experience and/or training.
Preferred: Surgery scheduling, coding, billing experience
