Job description

Registered Nurse – Emergency Department, Aberdeen, WA. This travel temporary assignment starts 07/13/2026 for 13 weeks with a weekly pay range of $2,129–$2,276 and 36 guaranteed hours per week. Shift is 3×12-hour nights (1830–0700) in a hospital setting. This RN role requires ED experience and is sponsored through Healthforce Healthcare LLC.

Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care for acutely ill and injured patients in the emergency department
Conduct triage, initial assessment, continuous monitoring, and timely escalation as needed
Administer medications, initiate IVs, assist with procedures, and manage airway/breathing/circulation in emergent situations
Collaborate with physicians, charge nurses, and other members of the ED team; communicate patient status and care plans
Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the electronic health record (Meditech knowledge is helpful but not required)
Educate patients and families, coordinate discharges or transfers as appropriate, and ensure patient safety throughout the shift

Requirements

Active Washington State RN license or valid multi-state license with Washington verifications, including Nursys demographics, and approved 6-hour suicide training
Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and NIHSS certifications
Emergency Department nursing experience; strong teamwork and communication skills
Ability to work the listed night shift (1830–0700) in a high-acuity ED setting
RTO (return-to-work) requests must be pre-approved and added to the end of the contract; full availability for scheduling
Knowledge of Meditech is helpful but not required
