Provides general nursing care and clinical procedures for assigned patients under the direction of an RN or MD. Participates in planning patient care, performing assessments, and implementing teaching plans.
Requires a valid Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) licensure and BLS Health Care Provider certification. High school diploma and a bachelor's degree are preferred.

Performs procedures which require specialized training for general nursing care and related services for assigned patients, under the direction of a Registered Nurse (RN) or Medical Doctor (MD), in accordance with established policy. Participates in the planning for and provision of patient care. Uses knowledge of asepsis in performance of treatments, such as sterile dressings, irritations and cauterizations. Provides functional direction to ancillary personnel.
