The Nurse Practitioner independently examines and treats patients while collaborating with other healthcare professionals. They are responsible for disease prevention, diagnosis, and recovery under the direction of a collaborating physician.
Candidates must hold a Master's degree in Nursing, a current Louisiana NP/APN license, and BLS certification. Experience in program development is also required.
