Provide on-call and in-house pastoral care to patients, visitors, and employees. Document visits in electronic medical records and collaborate with community clergy to support patient needs.
Requires at least one unit of Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE). Candidates must have three years of experience in pastoral ministry, including one year specifically in healthcare ministry.

Responsible for providing on-call, in-house pastoral care to patients, visitors, and employees.
Responds to requests for pastoral care services. Provides pastoral care to patients, visitors, and employees as appropriate. Logs time and visits for any follow-up actions by Chaplain and charts visits on electronic medical record (EMR). Maintains confidentiality in relationships established through service. Assists community clergy in provision of pastoral services with patients and visitors as opportunity develops. Follows policies, procedures, and safety standards. Completes required education assignments annually. Works toward achieving goals and objectives, and participates in quality improvement initiatives as requested. Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Education: At least (1) unit of Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) completed. Minimum Experience: Three (3) years experience in pastoral ministry, with one (1) year in health care ministry. Licensure Requirement: None
