The Patient Care Technician provides direct bedside care, including bathing, vital signs, and meal assistance, under the direction of a Registered Nurse. They are also responsible for safely transporting patients and orienting new arrivals to the care area.
A high school diploma or GED is required along with the ability to use a computer for documentation. Candidates must possess strong interpersonal communication skills and the physical ability to lift patients.
