The Registered Nurse is responsible for assessing, diagnosing, planning, and evaluating the delivery of direct patient care. They collaborate with an interdisciplinary team and supervise ancillary personnel to maintain or restore patient health status.
Candidates must be graduates of an accredited nursing program with a current Washington State license and BLS certification. ACLS and PALS certifications are required within six months of hire.

The registered nurse (RN) is responsible for assessing, diagnosing, planning, implementing and evaluating delivery of care. The registered nurse is accountable for direct patient care and for supervising the care provided by professional and ancillary personnel. The registered nurse assesses and plans for the educational needs of the patient and family that will contribute to the maintenance or restoration of health status on discharge. As a member of the health team, the registered nurse implements the nursing plan, coordinates with the medical plan and works collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team. Professionalism is demonstrated by quality of care, leadership and in continued professional growth and development. Quality assurance endeavors, through process improvement initiatives, are implemented through and with the nursing team. Any RN in the hospital may be requested to float to other departments as patient needs dictate.
What is required... Graduate of an accredited nursing program & currently licensed in the State of Washington Current BLS for Healthcare Providers card (maintenance required) ACLS within 6 months of hire (maintenance required) PALS within 6 months of hire (maintenance required) What is preferred... One to two years of previous clinical experience preferred in appropriate nursing area Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) PEARS
Wage: Wage range currently starts at $44.70/hour and goes up to $79.60/hour. Actual wage will be based on years' of applicable experience. This position may qualify for an additional 15% premium in lieu of benefits. Shift Differentials apply; Evenings (3p-11p) = $3.00/hour, Nights (11p - 7a) = 12% of hourly base rate, Weekends = $3.50/hour. FTE: Per Diem; per WSNA contract per diems must work at least 48 hours on a rolling three-scheduling-period.
