The nurse provides comprehensive care to patients before and after surgery, including administering medications and evaluating admission documents. Responsibilities include monitoring vital signs, managing post-operative pain, and treating symptoms like nausea and shivering.
Candidates must be a graduate of an accredited nursing program and hold a current Registered Nurse license in the State of Washington. Experience in IV therapy is required, and BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications must be obtained within 90 days of hire.
Registered Nurse, Pre-Operative and Post Anesthesia Care Unit– Olympia Orthopaedic Associates
Location: Centralia Surgery Center
Job Type: Full-time
The surgery center is primarily open Monday-Friday, but occasional Saturdays may be worked. The Pre-Op/PACU team rotates on-call, and some over-night shifts may be required depending on patient needs and recovery time.
$42.40 - $71.52 per hour
(Pay is determined based on years of experience)
