The Nurse Resident establishes personalized relationships with patients to assess, plan, and implement individualized care plans. They collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to provide evidence-based nursing interventions and manage patient care in accordance with facility policies.
Candidates must be a graduate of an accredited School of Nursing with successful NCLEX completion and a current RN license. A Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) is preferred.
Consistently utilizes appropriate communication tools when communicating within the interdisciplinary team and when handing off patient care. Communicates individualized plan of care to the patient and his/her chosen support system. Uses communication tools such as Situation, Background, Assessment, Recommendation, and Question (SBARQ) to communicate more effectively. Documents appropriate information in a timely manner.
Education: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing and successful completion of the NCLEX required. 4 Year/Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
