Requires a Bachelor's degree and an active Rhode Island credential such as LADC, CADC, or LCDP. Candidates need 1-2 years of experience working with co-occurring disorders and knowledge of ASAM criteria.
Description Are you passionate about helping individuals achieve lasting recovery while working as part of a collaborative, multidisciplinary team? We are seeking a dedicated Substance Use Disorder (SUD) Specialist to provide evidence-based, person-centered treatment services for individuals with co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders.
In this highly impactful role, you will work within an Integrated Health Home (IHH) or Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) team, delivering comprehensive substance use treatment, case management, outreach, crisis intervention, and care coordination. You'll play a vital role in helping clients improve their health, strengthen recovery, and build meaningful connections to community supports.
This is a highly active, community-based position requiring regular travel throughout the service area. Services may be provided in client homes, healthcare facilities, pharmacies, courts, and community settings. Candidates must be comfortable working in diverse environments and weather conditions while maintaining a high standard of professional care and safety.
