The role involves compiling, scanning, and maintaining medical records in compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. Responsibilities include utilizing EHR systems, submitting birth and death certificates, and providing backup for billing and admissions.
A High School Diploma or GED is required, with experience in medical dictation and terminology preferred. Candidates must possess basic computer proficiency and strong interpersonal communication skills.
Primary function.
1. Organize reports for scanning to patient clinic accounts. Determine and sort if reports originated at CH-F or from an outside source.
3. Scan documents created by CH-F and acknowledged by provider to a separate folder in CH-F network
Working conditions
Works in a department setting as well as to and from outpatient clinics, emergency room, and inpatient. May be exposed to virus, disease, infections from patients.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, reading electronic medical records and paper documents. This position requires prolonged periods of sitting with intermittent physical activity, including standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, and crouching.
