Perform various neurodiagnostic and pediatric sleep disorder tests, including EEG, Transcranial Dopplers, and nerve conduction studies. Provide technical descriptions for long-term studies and participate in the CEEG call schedule for patients of all ages.
Requires a high school diploma and a professional certification such as R.EEGT, RPSGT, or CNIM. A minimum of up to one year of experience and CPR certification are required.
The incumbent is to provide Neurodiagnostic and Pediatric Sleep Disorder testing for the Neurophysiology Department including but not limited to routine and long term EEG studies, Transcranial Dopplers, Evoked Potential Testing, Neurophysiological Intraoperative Monitoring, Nerve Conduction Studies, reviewing and providing technical descriptions of long term, CEEG, and ambulatory EEG studies, diagnostic sleep studies, titration sleep studies, maintenance of wakefulness testing, and multiple sleep latency studies. Participate in the tech CEEG call schedule and possibly the Neurodiagnostic call schedule when required. All services are provided to inpatients and outpatients as well as all ages of patients from neonatal to geriatric.
