The technologist is responsible for performing high-quality Nuclear Medicine and PET-CT imaging exams while ensuring patient and radiation safety. Key duties include managing radiopharmaceuticals, conducting quality control assessments, and maintaining compliance with NRC and state regulations.
Completion of a formal Nuclear Medicine program is required, with an Associate Degree and state licensure preferred. Candidates must obtain CNMT or ARRT(N) certification within one year of employment and hold a current BLS certification.

Under The Direction Of Physician-In-Charge And Manager Of Nuclear Medicine/Pet-Ct Imaging, The Technologist Is Responsible For Patient Safety, Radiation Safety State And Federal Regulations And The Performance Of High Quality Nuclear Medicine Exams And Pet-Ct Imaging. The Technologist Performs A Variety Of Technical Duties And Procedures That Require Independent Judgment, Ingenuity, Initiative And Self Motivation In Utilization Of Radionuclides And Equipment For Diagnosis And Treatment Of Disease.
