The Medical Assistant facilitates patient visits, procedures, and routine laboratory tests within an ambulatory health care site. They are also responsible for managing patient flow, documenting care in EPIC, and participating in quality initiatives.
Candidates must have a medical assisting certificate or a high school diploma with one year of recent experience in a physician practice. Medical Assistant certification is required within six months of hire.
