Caregiver Worker

University Home Care Inc is seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregiver Workers to provide exceptional in-home care to our clients in Clinton Township, MI. As a Caregiver Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting the daily living activities and overall well-being of individuals who need assistance, helping them maintain their independence and quality of life.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and hygiene.
• Help with mobility, transferring, and positioning to ensure safety and comfort.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
• Assist with meal preparation, feeding, and monitoring dietary needs.
• Perform light housekeeping tasks including laundry, cleaning, and shopping.
• Report any changes in the client’s health, behavior, or environment to supervisors.
• Follow care plans and instructions provided by medical professionals and family members.
• Maintain client confidentiality and respect their privacy at all times.

Requirements

• Previous experience in caregiving or related field is an asset but not required.
• Ability to communicate effectively and compassionately with clients and their families.
• Reliable transportation to travel to client locations in Clinton Township, MI.
• Ability to pass background checks and health screenings as per company policy.
• Basic knowledge of safety and emergency procedures.
• Physical capability to assist clients with mobility and perform light housekeeping duties.
