Health care is constantly changing, and at Banner Health, we are at the front of that change. We are leading health care to make the experience the best it can be. We want to change the lives of those in our care – and the people who choose to take on this challenge. If changing health care for the better sounds like something you want to be part of, we want to hear from you. The Neuropsychology Center at Banner Sun Health Research Institute (BSHRI) serves all aspects of the Institute’s mission – to make a difference to patients with age-related disorders through cutting-edge research, clinical care, prevention, and education. The Neuropsychology team includes neuropsychologists, psychometrists, research assistants, post-doctoral fellows, and psychology graduate students. Our team is dedicated to precision and accuracy in administration of neuropsychological measures, compassionate care for our patients and research participants, and collaborative innovation of best practices. The Psychometrist administers and scores standardized cognitive and neuropsychological tests for neurodegenerative diseases associated with aging such as Alzheimer's Disease and related dementias as well as Parkinson's Disease. Assessments take place in diverse contexts, including government- and industry-sponsored research and clinical trials, local and national research consortiums, community-based cognitive screenings, and outpatient clinical evaluations at the Cleo Roberts Memory and Movement Disorders Center. As a member of our team, you will also be engaged in our robust training program, which teaches the next generation of neuropsychologists (graduate students and post-doctoral fellows). The Neuropsychology Center is also called upon for sharing our expertise in cognitive assessment with colleagues across various departments.
