The Patient Care Assistant supports Registered Nurses by performing routine procedures and providing nursing support. The role focuses on achieving excellence in patient care through advocacy and collaboration.
Candidates must be a Licensed EMT, Paramedic, or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), or be a current nursing student. A high school diploma or equivalent is required for CNAs, with one year of clinical experience preferred.
00am - 7:00pm variable days of the week The Patient Care Assistant functions as an assistant to the Registered Nurse performing routine procedures under his or her supervision. The PCA provides nursing support to achieve the organization's mission of excellent patient care and nursing's vision of setting a new standard of excellence in autonomous and accountable nursing practice committed to patient advocacy and innovative patient care in a climate of trust and collaboration.
