Perform patient assessments and administer various respiratory therapies and ventilatory support across all age groups. Manage and troubleshoot respiratory care equipment while interpreting diagnostic results and maintaining medical records.
Must be a credentialed certified or registered respiratory therapist with an active Iowa state license. BLS certification is required within 3 months, and ACLS is preferred within one year.
Must be credentialed as a certified or registered respiratory therapist by the National Board for Respiratory Care upon hire. Must have an active license as a respiratory care practitioner in the State of Iowa upon hire. Must be BLS certified within 3 months of hire. Child and Dependent Adult Abuse Mandatory Reporter Training is required within 6 months of hire and every 3 years thereafter. Prefer ACLS certification within one year of hire.
