Responsible for cleaning, high-level disinfecting, and steam sterilizing endoscopes and other medical equipment under RN supervision. Maintains disinfection logs, manages supplies, and ensures the sterilization area meets safety and infection control standards.
Requires knowledge of cleaning and disinfecting solutions and the ability to follow strict infection control policies. Must be capable of performing physical tasks including standing, walking, and maintaining equipment according to manufacturer recommendations.
