The coordinator manages all internal and external patient bed assignments and monitors real-time availability across hospital units. They collaborate with various departments to facilitate patient intake, transfers, and discharge transportation.
A high school diploma and at least one year of experience in a healthcare environment are required. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is necessary, while experience with Epic and EMTALA education is preferred.
