Coordinate and provide professional nursing care to patients using the nursing process. Collaborate with healthcare professionals and provide input for team performance appraisals and departmental financial outcomes.
Must be a graduate of an accredited nursing program with a current NC or Compact State RN license and BCLS certification. A BSN and specialty certification are preferred.
Summary of Performance Expectations
Accountable for the coordination and provision of professional nursing care appropriate to the age of the patient using the nursing process. Collaborates with other health care professionals and agencies to meet the needs of our customers. Provides input into the performance appraisal process for each assigned team member on an on-going basis. Accountable for input into departmental and patient financial outcomes.
BSN, specialty certification in area of practice.
No previous experience required. Incumbent should be proficient in the basic aspects of the job and able to assume call responsibilities as required within three to three months of employment date.
