Responsible for completing the admission process for patients moving from the emergency room to inpatient units. This includes performing full patient assessments, documentation, medication reconciliation, and coordinating with bed management.
Must be a graduate of an accredited nursing school with a current Massachusetts Registered Nurse license. Required certifications and experience include BLS, ACLS, telemetry, and acute-care hospital experience.

This position will be responsible for completing the admission process for patients being admitted to inpatient units through the emergency room. This will include a full patient assessment, completion of admission documentation, and completion of medication reconciliation. The nurse will have regular dialogue with the inpatient and ER departments regarding any information regarding the patient and admission. The candidate will also develop a clear understanding of the capabilities of each inpatient unit and will assist bed coordination in ensuring that each patient is admitted to the appropriate level of care. This position reports to the Clinical Resource Nurse manager. Qualified candidates will be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing and possess a current Massachusetts Registered Nurse license. The candidate must have acute-care hospital experience with BLS, ACLS, and telemetry experience required. Excellent time management and interpersonal skills are key attributes for the successful candidate Pay Range: $37.00 - $84.71 This position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement. The pay range listed for this position is the base hourly wage range the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at this time. The pay range for this position is established and governed by the terms of the applicable collective bargaining agreement. Employees hired into this position will receive compensation consistent with the terms of the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
