Duties & Responsibilities

Resident Activities Plan, organize, and lead engaging activities that promote physical, social, emotional, and cognitive wellness. Encourage resident participation while adapting activities to individual interests and abilities. Set up activity spaces and assist with community events and celebrations. Document resident participation and engagement. Shower Aide & Personal Care Assist residents with scheduled showers while maintaining dignity, privacy, and respect. Assist with grooming, dressing, and other hygiene needs as assigned. Escort residents to activities and meals as needed. Observe and report changes in residents' physical or emotional condition to supervisors promptly. General Resident Support Maintain accurate documentation according to company policy. Assist with meal service and resident dining support when needed. Help maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment through light housekeeping and sanitation duties. Assist with laundry and cleaning schedules as assigned. Attend required staff meetings and training sessions. Perform additional duties assigned by the Executive Director or supervisor. Physical Requirements Frequent standing and walking. Occasional bending, kneeling, crouching, and lifting. Ability to assist residents with transfers using appropriate equipment and assistance when necessary. QualificationsEducation and/or Experience High school diploma or general education degree (GED) One to three months related experience and/or training with working with seniors Basic computer skills/knowledge Valid CPR, First Aid and Food Handlers cards (can be acquired during the hiring process) Pre-Service Universal Caregiver training is required but part of your onboarding and training. Ongoing training is provided by the Executive Director and Oregon Care Partners to ensure the highest level of care and adherence to state regulations.
