The Occupational Therapy Assistant is responsible for managing resident care and implementing treatment plans outlined by supervising therapists. They must maintain accurate clinical documentation and billing records while collaborating with nursing and clinical staff.
Candidates must hold an Associate's Degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program and a COTA license. Experience or knowledge in older adult rehabilitation is preferred, along with at least one year of experience.
At CareOne, we do things differently. Unlike many skilled nursing companies, we provide rehabilitation services in-house—not through outside contractors. That means as a Occupational Therapy Assistant with CareOne, you’ll enjoy:
· Collaboration every day with nursing and clinical staff for stronger patient outcomes.
· Consistency and stability—you’re part of our team, not a rotating agency.
· Career advancement opportunities across our large, multi-state network.
· Supportive culture where therapists are valued as essential members of the care team.
The Occupational Therapy Assistant's (OTA) overall responsibility is to manage the care of the resident/resident, managing quality of all related outcomes.
