• This may involve polysomnography, diagnostic and therapeutic services, patient care and education.
• Full time: 3 – 12 hr shifts per week (0.9 FTE) Nights: 6:30 pm – 7:00 am Limited weekends No holidays Education: High School graduate or Certificate of General Educational Development (GED) or High School Equivalency Diploma (HSED) required Currently enrolled or enrolled prior to start date in a sleep education program such as ASTEP required ASTEP program to be completed within 6 months of hire required Licenses and Certifications: BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider - American Heart Association/American Red Cross/National Safety Council required RPSGT-Registered Polysomnographic Technician - Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists within 2 Years required

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Basic computer skills. Analytical skills necessary to resolve complex clinical problems relating to the integration of anatomy and physiology to sleep/wake pathology and patient safety and welfare. Possess adequate time management skills. Interpersonal and communication skills sufficient to interact with interdisciplinary health team members and consumers.
